Bandy to Bridges

   

Bandy, Thomas

Ordained in the United Methodist Church in Chicago, Tom served with Presbyterians in Philadelphia, Methodists in New York, and the United Church in Toronto, and led cross-denominational evangelism teams in Michigan. For 7 years Tom served as the Director of Congregational Mission and Evangelism for the United Church of Canada, developing resources, leading national events, and consulting with congregations of all sizes. He now works with William Easum as a church consultant. He lives in Guelph, Ontario, where his wife is pastor of a nearby church. He will be speaking at conferences in New South Wales, Western Australia, South Australia and Victoria, Australia in February 2006.

Banks, Robert

Robert Banks is senior international fellow of the De Pree Leadership Center and academic director and dean of Macquarie Christian Studies Institute in Sydney, Australia. Kimberly Powell, former manager of marketing and communication for the De Pree Leadership Center, is now resident chaplain at the Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri.

Barna, George

George Barna is president of the Barna Research Group, Ltd., a marketing research firm in Ventura, California. . He previously worked in market research, media production and advertising, and served in the public policy field as a legislative assistant and campaign manager. Barna has had 31 books published. Included among them are best sellers such as The Frog in the Kettle, The Second Coming of the Church, The Power of Vision, and User Friendly Churches. He has served as a pastor of a large, multi-cultural church and has been involved in initiating several new churches.
