Douglas A. Walrath, now retired, is former director of the Small-Church Leadership Program at Bangor Theological Seminary. Walrath was general editor of the "Small Church in Action" series published by Abingdon.

Paul is lecturer in Psychology Dept of University of South Australia, specialising in Integration of psychology and religion, Clergy loneliness, stress and coping , values, ethics and malpractice among helping professionals. Libby Whetham is a therapist and group worker who has served overseas as a Christian missionary. Hard to be Holy comes out of PhD research which involved detailed interviewing of 65 clergy from five denominations in southern NSW, Australia.

Whitehead, James D. & Evelyn Eaton

Dr. James Whitehead is a pastoral theologian and historian of religion concerned with issues of contemporary spirituality, ministerial leadership, and theological method in ministry.. Dr. Evelyn Whitehead is a developmental and social psychologist who writes and lectures of adult maturity, the dynamics of leadership, and the social analysis of community and parish life. Together they lead Whitehead Associates, U.S.A.. They are Associate Faculty of the Institute of Pastoral Studies at Loyola University of Chicago.
